Chemistry: “The Sarkozy Letters”

To promote our agency’s online abilities we ran this campaign, a spoof exchange of letters on a diplomatic row. Result: 1 million people viewed it in less than one week. Winner of Best Viral and Gold Award for Innovation at 2010 Digital Media Awards. Cost: Zero.

Coors: “Hypnosis”

A major breakthrough in the art of persuasion. Early tests would appear to indicate that this viral video appears to actually hypnotise your mates into buying you beer. (We are currently beta testing a version that will hypnotise clients into giving us much bigger budgets.)

Shamrogue City

We sought planning permission to build a large shamrock shaped island in Dublin Bay called Shamrogue City. We also made a corporate video to “sell” the idea to potential buyers and investors. A campaign to launch a new property website in Ireland, it got over 170,000 views on YouTube alone and has been described as “Ireland’s most successful viral campaign ever”. It generated huge coverage both online and offline including, famously, on RTE’s Nine O’Clock news.

To promote the Radio Advertising Awards, and radio as a medium, we developed a proposition that ‘a great script shouldn’t be ruined by pictures’ – which this viral ably demonstrates.

Chemistry: “A Nicety Word Twerps”

Even the humblest recruitment ad should be engaging and involving. That’s why we devised 10,000 anagrams of “copywriters wanted” in this animated banner ad.  Only A Critters Downy Pew, A Cents Powdery Writ, or A Nicety Word Twerps need apply.

Chemistry: “Nicosphere 3000″

When the smoking ban was introduced in Ireland we seized the opportunity to cash in with the Nicosphere 3000. Using the latest Nicological technology, the Nicosphere 3000 offers a discreet smoking environment for its user. Years later, we were still getting queries from potential distributors all over the world.

Anshe: “St Patricks Day Cards”

To create a case study for Anshes new electronic indicia service, we developed and launched the St. Patricks Day Dancing Cards. We won the first ever ICAD Gold for Digital. And Anshe came to the attention of Escher, the worlds biggest company in the sector, who promptly bought them.
